Losing a loved one is one of life's most devastating experiences and the task of organising a funeral is overwhelming. Along with the guidance from your funeral director, I will be part of your pastoral care team and shall be there to help you create a fitting and meaningful ceremony to bring them back into the hearts and minds of all who knew them, creating a comforting and healing atmosphere as you share your grief together.

When I meet with family and friends, I shall walk you through all the memories, stories and highlights of their life. What was their character? What made them happy? What did they mean to you and others? How did they affect and touch your lives and what legacy did they leave behind? With those and deeper questions we can together compose an authentic and unique memorial, which will be skilfully delivered with care and reverence.

Nothing you love is lost. Not really.

Things, people, they always go away, sooner or later. You can't hold them any more than you can hold moonlight. But if they've touched you, if they're inside you, then they're still yours. The only thing you ever really have are the ones you hold inside your heart.

Bruce Coville.

Whatever the nature of their passing, be it through illness, sudden death or difficult circumstances, I will make sure they are remembered for the way they affected our lives, with dignity and respect.

Every life, no matter how long or short is significant

If your ceremony is outwith a crematorium setting and/or involves burial, I can be there to provide final words of comfort and peace at the graveside.
